A Love To Last for #TonDeng ?

Since it’s debut episode last January 2017, the well-loved and melodramatic love life of Anton Noble and Andeng with Grace as the nagging ex-wife, “A Love To Last” is winding down to its remaining four weeks, according to one of its directors Jerry Lopez Sineneng.

In their recent finale presscon, major cast members all showed up headed by Ian Veneracion, Iza Calzado, Enchong Dee, Ronnie Alonte, JK Labajo, Hannah Vito with Bea Alonzo.

The venue was even transformed into a lovely and romantic wedding reception place.
It was also cupcakes galore and other bread delights were provided by Fernandez Bakeshop as always.

During Q & A portion, the directors were also asked how they had the actors act as if they weren’t acting at all, how they made it seem like the audience was watching their neighbors in their day-to-day life. “Actually, ang swerte po namin ni Direk Frasco kasi ang nabigay sa aming cast ay napakahusay na,” answered Direk Jerry.

“Malinaw po sa kanila ‘yung character, inaaral nila nang mabuti, konting discussion lang here and there, every now and then, tapos kuhang-kuha na po nila. Tapos ‘yung elementong parang nanonood lang ng kapitbahay - I think scripting has a lot to do with that. Magaling po ‘yung creative team natin.”

The press also asked about the #LoveGoals concert. They were all pretty tight-lipped about the details, choosing to keep everything a secret. “It’s a musical,” Ian quipped which received a round of laughs from the press. But he did confirm that they will perform the Jose Mari Chan songs used in the show. “Pero hindi lahat,” he shared. “Meron ding iba.”

Watch out for a lot of singing among the cast members especially Papa Ian and JK Labajo. It remains a cool surprise not to spill the beans on who's performing who during the Thanksgiving Party at the Kia Theater on Sept 8, 2017.

And don’t miss the last four weeks of “A Love To Last,” weeknights on Primetime Bida!
