MANILA, Philippines – Health Junkie, your go-to resource for doable exercise, healthy recipes, and happy lifestyle tips, is launching something big this year.

Heath Junkie’s readership comprises mostly of young female professionals within the age group of 18-34 years old who are either looking into ways to jump start their healthy lifestyle or women who are seeking for a community to share their passion for health and fitness with.

“Health Junkie is more than just a blog; it’s a community.” says founder Tonette Nicolas. “We’ve always known that women are strong, but we’re also human. We have insecurities and fears which can sometimes get the better of us. That is why having a community who understands and doesn’t judge is important. We’re here to support each other as we strive for a healthier and more active lifestyle.”

It all starts with loving your body

Given the wide array of diets available and different exercises to try, it can get overwhelming. The truth is, there’s no single solution; what works for one person may not yield the same result for another. The one thing that can certainly work for everyone is choosing to be kind-to love your body.

We often tend to focus on what we hate about our body, but what if we actually start loving it? Loving your body is about giving it proper nutrition, strengthening your body with exercise, training yourself not too worry too much and giving yourself enough time to recharge.

#LoveYourBody Fair 2016

Health Junkie is committed to providing value to its readers. “We want to help educate the community about the choices available to them. Hence, the #LoveYourBody Fair. We want to connect our community with brands who also value health, fitness, and wellness in general,” says Tonette. “We’re grateful to have Greenfield District’s support as we know that they align with our values as well.”

#LoveYourBody Fair 2016 is set to happen on February 20, Saturday at the Greenfield District Central Park, United St., Mandaluyong. The fitness activities will start at 7:00 AM, along with the wellness bazaar, which may coincide with Greenfield Weekend Market.

“We’re happy to host this year’s #LoveYourBody Fair,” says Jacq Brabante of Greenfield District. “It’s at the heart of Greenfield District to provide our community with activities that can enrich their lives. If anything, we really want them to enjoy every time they’re at the Greenfield Central Park.”

Activities include Zumba class by Ms. Regine Tolentino, Yoga classes by Urban Ashram Yoga, Running Clinic by Coach Jared Baliguat, and free talks about loving your body and having a healthier lifestyle.
