UP KUSTURA opens doors for the youth towards self-growth through the Marikina Youth Convention (MYCon).
For this year, MYCon goes with a theme “I Pursue.” MYCon aims to provide an avenue to empower the youth through broadening their perspectives and feel that spark of passion within them which can eventually lead to setting and pursuing their directions and goals.
Through exposure to various fields (specifically – Art, Media, Health and Business, Politics and Governance, Science and Technology, Environment and Sports, and Education), and to an environment that fosters self-growth, these youth can acquire knowledge beyond what they tackle within the four corners of their classrooms.
It will be held on March 24, 2018, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the San Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila School, Marikina City.
Eligible participants are students from Marikina schools, particularly students from grade 7 to 12, and those who study outside the city, and college undergraduates given that they are certified residents of Marikina. Seize the moment and take the opportunity to grow. Make it happen with MYCon!
