63 students. 21 exquisitely crafted chairs. One spectacular event. PUP Department of Interior Design is bringing everyone to converge into an event showcasing immense power of one goal – revivifying and innovating Philippine chairs for the better.
This event doesn’t only aim to develop the promising minds of aspiring Interior Designers, but also through this chance to design chairs none but products of their mind, they are encouraged to become more passionate and hardworking in the field that they chose. Brought by one of the premiere Interior Design schools in the country, Polytechnic University of the Philippines. “REVI-SEAT: The Alchemy of Traditional Filipino chairs” will bring traditional Filipino chairs a new breath of life, still instilled with history, creativity and harmony of the chairs featured – main aspects that bring the heart and soul of the exhibit.
The exhibit is spearheaded by IDr. Billie Jean Dumlao-Dela Cruz, adviser of this year’s PUP Department of Interior Design, Furniture Design class. The launch of this year’s exhibit dubbed as “REVI-SEAT: The Alchemy of Traditional Filipino chairs” will be held on October 23, 2017 at 3rd flr, All Home, Wil Tower, Eugenio Lopez Dr, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila.
