MANILA, Philippines (Jul 06, 2025) – A new contender for your wrist is set to enter the Philippine market as vivo introduces its first-ever square smartwatch, the vivo Watch GT. This launch marks a significant design shift for the company, moving away from the circular face of its successful 2024 predecessor, the vivo Watch 3.
According to a press release obtained by our editors, the Watch GT is designed with a matte aluminum alloy frame and glossy curved edges. It features a stainless steel digital crown, a detail inspired by high-end timepieces. The device aims to blend functionality for active users with a style suitable for everyday social settings.
The watch is built around a vibrant 1.85-inch HD AMOLED display. It has a 390 x 450 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate, all protected by 2.5D curved glass in a borderless design. An Always-On Display feature ensures essential information is visible with minimal power consumption.
For personalization, the vivo Watch GT will be available in two color variants. The Summer Black model comes with a black rubber strap, while the Cloud White version is paired with a white leather band. The straps are removable, allowing users to switch them to match their activity or style.
