CMMA recognizes ‘Nathaniel ‘ for promoting values, teaching life lessons

PHILIPPINES – ABS-CBN’s values-laden series “Nathaniel” received recognition from the recently held 37th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) for promoting good values and teaching viewers, especially the youth, essential life lessons.

The cast of the hit primetime teleserye led by Marco Masa, Gerald Anderson, Pokwang, and Yesha Camile personally received the Best Children and Youth Program award and Special Award for Promoting Good Christian Values and Strong Faith in the Lord.

Under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment, “Nathaniel” consistently topped the nationwide TV ratings ranking since it started airing in April. The show recorded an all-time high national TV rating of 42%, according to data from Kantar Media, proving the intense support of the viewers for the show.

Viewers were glued to the program until its finale to witness Nathaniel defeat the forces of evil and continue to spread goodness and the teachings of the Lord. Nathaniel also reminded everyone to always believe in God and that He will always be there whenever one needs help and guidance.

Aside from “Nathaniel,” the shows “May Bukas Pa,” “100 Days to Heaven,” and “Oh My G!” are some of ABS-CBN’s hit series that shared life lessons and strengthened viewers’ relationship with God.

CMMA is an annual award-giving body that recognizes works of institutions and individuals from television, radio, film, advertising, and internet that promoted and highlighted the lessons of the Catholic Church.
