Maine Mendoza, the other half of the popular tandem AlDub, won Favorite Pinoy Personality in the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Maine got the highest votes beating out Kapamilya stars Enrique Gil, James Reid, and Kathryn Bernardo for the honor.
Because she couldn’t personally accept the physical Orange Blimp trophy, Maine said as she blew a kiss to the camera, “I would really love to hold this Orange Blimp right now, but since I’m away for vacation, maybe this will do, for now. Cool ‘no? (Isn’t it cool?) I love you all.”
La Salle basketball star Jeron Teng meanwhile won the Favorite Asian Sports Star award.
