Tom Rodriguez and Joseph Marco take the spotlight in San Mig Light’s newest TVC.
The 30-second clip shows the two hunks “hitting on” – which is more like being hit on – by girls at a bar – something that does happen in real life, though probably not as cute as it does in the commercial.
Accommodating the video is a helpful list of signs that a girl is interested. Not that helpful unless you have the looks, charm, and confidence of Tom or Joseph.
Thankfully, there’s San Mig Light to keep everyone company – whether you’re a girl, a guy, or a chimpanzee aged 18-34 (wait, we have chimps in Manila?)
As a light brew, it is very easy to chug – like downing a glass of water … or your mom’s pito-pito.
Despite the “light” tag, it retains that beer flavor – not that it matters when you’re drunk or trying to pick up a girl … or a guy (hey, we won’t judge)
It only contains 5% alcohol, so those allergic to alcohol should be able to drink at least a five drops (we counted) before fainting.
Speaking of which, big brother San Miguel Pale Pilsen also contains 5% alcohol.

Thing is, one 330ml bottle of San Mig Light only contains 100 calories – again, not that it matters when you’re effing drunk (how’s the pickup game?)
Seriously, because of the low calorie content you can afford to feel good and look good at the same time … as long as you stop eating all the pulutan, that is.
I mean – just look at Sam Pinto.

Low alcohol content. Less calories. Easy to drink.
Like they say, get ready for “mahaba-habang inuman” – in English, that’s “long, long drinking” (we’re not drunk).
