VP Binay backs out of Trillanes debate

"Ayoko na (I don’t want to)". This is what Vice President Jejomar Binay told reporters when asked about the upcoming debate with Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.

The two are scheduled to discuss the corruption allegations being hurled against VP Binay such as the alleged overpricing of the Makati City building.

The Vice President himself boldly issued the challenge against Senator Trillanes after he (VP Binay) turned down invitations to for him to appear at the Senate Blue Ribbon committee hearings on the corruption issue.
