Yanis Marshall, GForce conquer Manila … in heels

MANILA, Philippines – International dance icon Yanis Marshall, known for dancing in heels, successfully held a one-of-a-kind night of performance with the dance celebrity group GForce, powered by the new LGBT social networking app, Moovz.

Yanis Marshall, a 25-year old Parisian choreographer who became a worldwide sensation in the last 2 years following his epic Spice Girls megamix going viral and as a finalist in the “Britain’s Got Talent”, was very busy in the last year conducting dance workshops and shows almost every parts of the world such as Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, USA, China, Russia and more. Marshall is known for his intricate and fun heels choreography, as can be seen on his viral videos that have been shared by artist such as Beyonce, Ciara, Natalia Kills and Ariana Grande.

Moovz, the fast growing LGBT social networking app, that aims to connect the worldwide LGBT communities and cultures, recently brought Yanis Marshall to the Philippines for cooperation between him and the local celebrity dance group GForce. Marshall appeared in a very successful concert entitled “Make Me Sweat Again” headed by GForce dance master teacher Georcelle. A lot of class A celebrities and dance enthusiasts attended the event, including KC Concepcion, Maya Salvador, the sisters Vina Morales and Shaina Magdayao and more. He also performed in the popular noontime show “It’s Showtime” together with the GForce Angels and got interviewed by the hosts Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda, both well-known LGBT icons in the Philippines.

This tour was a part of Marshall’s visit to Asia, including Singapore and Taiwan, which included 32 master classes, TV show, photoshoots for the cover of the Mega magazine and 2 live performances in just 2 weeks. Marshall was also interviewed to the music channel MYX, the showbiz portal pep.ph and appeared in the morning news show Umagang Kay Kanda of ABSCBN, together with Moovz’s Regional Manager for Asia Pacific, Boyet Dalisay.

“This collaboration is another step in our mission to connect LGBT individuals from all over the world” says Dalisay, “We see Yanis Marshall as a worldwide LGBT culture icon, with many fans and followers in Asia and we’re happy this activity got so much attention”. In the last few months Moovz is taking the market by storm, with huge collaborations with LGBT influencers and leaders from all around the world. Only recently, Moovz has launched its latest campaign targeting the US market, with more than 20 different LGBT icons from all around the world taking part. Adding this to the latest announcement of Moovz collaborations with Universal Music, Rupaul’s drag race contestants, international organizations and Trans activist Candis Cayne, who just recently appeared in showbiz channel Access Hollywood, to discuss her involvement in the hit US TV series “I Am Cait” and representing Moovz as the global creative director of the company. Hmm, looks like there is a lot more to come.
