MANILA, Philippines – The hospitality industry has been proven to be growing stronger each year, the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) cited that the travel and tourism sector has contributed a total of P3.35 trillion to the Philippines’ economy, accounting for about 21 percent of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) in the year 2017. The industry is expected to rise by 5.9 percent for this year.
With the hospitality industry’s growth, the organizers of the Hotel Suppliers Show will follow the success of its Cebu leg last June, with another sourcing platform dedicated for the industry – the 9th edition of Hotel Suppliers Show, which will happen on September 20 to 22, 2018 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. The show will be held coinciding Food & Beverage Suppliers Show, and Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment Philippines making it a complete showcase for hoteliers and restaurateurs.
“We are overwhelmed with the results of our 1st Hotel Suppliers Show held in Cebu last June – that’s more than 6,000 hoteliers, restaurateurs and industry professionals together with more than 50 exhibiting brands in three days!,” says Patrick Lawrence Tan, CEO of Global-Link Exhibitions Specialist, Inc. “The industry is indeed growing and we would like to create more opportunities for our local professionals for this sector not only in Cebu and Manila but for the entire country.”
The 9,800+ sq. meter expo will be filled up with the internationally renowned brands fronted by its major sponsors: Globalinens Worldwide Inc., Hafele Philippines, Harle Philippines, Pacific Paint Boysen Philippines, and Tosot Philippines plus many many more.
Three industry related symposiums will also be happening alongside the trade fair:

Happening at the same time will be the National Building and Property Management Summit, a conference for business and trade professionals from the property and construction sector.
Finally, you have the Building Green Conference by the Philippine Green Building Council.
The Conference is set to welcome the opening of international celebration of the World Green Week.
