MANILA, Philippines (Feb. 2025) — Infinix is strengthening its presence in the mobile esports scene through a multi-year partnership with MOONTON Games, becoming the official gaming smartphone partner for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). The collaboration will see Infinix sponsoring five major MLBB professional tournaments across Southeast Asia, reinforcing its commitment to the competitive gaming ecosystem.

Kicking off on Feb. 28, the partnership extends across premier leagues, including the MLBB Professional League (MPL) in Cambodia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, the MLBB Development League (MDL) in Indonesia, and the newly launched MLBB Super League (MSL) in Myanmar. Infinix’s GT Series smartphones will serve as the official tournament devices, empowering players with high-performance technology designed for esports competition.

Infinix GT Series: Powering MLBB Esports

With over 100 million active players, MLBB is one of the most popular mobile games globally, particularly in Southeast Asia. Infinix is equipping professional players with its GT Series gaming smartphones, featuring high-refresh-rate displays, powerful processors, and optimized battery life for extended play.

For the first phase of the 2025 tournaments, competitors will use the Infinix GT 20 Pro, followed by the upgraded GT30 Pro in the latter half of the year. These devices undergo rigorous testing, including stress simulations and real-world tournament conditions, ensuring stability and top-tier performance in high-stakes matches.

“Infinix is committed to elevating the mobile gaming experience,” said Tony Zhao, CEO of Infinix. “Esports connects and inspires the next generation of players, and we aim to support them with cutting-edge devices to enhance their gameplay and competitive edge.”

Strengthening the MLBB Community

Beyond tournament sponsorship, Infinix is fostering a more connected esports community by organizing online and offline activities such as fan club tournaments, community meetups, gaming masterclasses, and exclusive giveaways. The brand’s involvement extends to the MPL Philippines league, where it supports local teams, including Team Aurora, and engages fans with interactive experiences at live events.

“We’re proud to partner with Infinix in making high-performance gaming accessible to a broader audience,” said Adrian Cher, MOONTON Games’ Head of Regional Esports Sales. “Their commitment to esports aligns with our mission to push the boundaries of mobile gaming excellence.”

Elevating Esports with Infinix

As an official tournament partner, Infinix plays a key role in shaping MLBB’s competitive landscape. Champions from these leagues—excluding MDL Indonesia—will secure spots in global MLBB tournaments, such as the MSC and M-Series competitions, providing teams with greater opportunities to compete at the highest level.

Infinix’s presence extends beyond the competition, with initiatives like the Fansiklaban S2 showdown in Makati, interactive booths at MPL events, and nationwide campus tours aimed at nurturing the next generation of esports talent. Fans can also engage online through Infinix InGameZone on TikTok and access exclusive gaming deals through the brand’s e-commerce promotions.

With the Infinix GT 20 Pro powering this season’s MLBB tournaments, aspiring gamers can now experience pro-level gaming firsthand. The official tournament smartphone is available on TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Lazada.
