MAKATI, Philippines (May 2025) — ASUS has launched its newest budget gaming laptops in the Philippines, expanding its growing lineup with the ASUS Gaming V16 (V3607) and X16 (K3605). The move marks the brand’s push to offer more accessible, performance-ready devices to Filipino gamers.
The V16 and X16 models are built with competitive specs, headlined by up to an Intel Core 5 210H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics with DLSS 4 support. Each model sports a 16-inch Full HD IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio, optimized for smooth gameplay and immersive visuals. The display-to-body ratio is a striking 89 percent.
Designed for portability, the V16 is just 1.8 cm thin and weighs 1.95 kg in Matte Black, while the X16 is slightly lighter at 1.8 kg and comes in Indie Black. ASUS’ build quality meets MIL-STD-810H military standards, and both models include IceCool thermal technology with dual fans and heat pipes.
For audio and communication, the laptops come with Dirac sound tuning, ASUS Audio Booster, AI noise cancellation, and 3D noise-reduction (3DNR) for clearer video and voice. The V16 and X16 also feature large touchpads, an ASUS ErgoSense keyboard, and signature gamer touches like Turbo Blue backlighting and transparent WASD keys.
Connectivity includes USB Type-A and Type-C ports, HDMI, audio combo jacks, and more. The X16 adds an SD card reader. Both support fast wireless connections through WiFi 6 or WiFi 6E, depending on the model.
Filipino buyers can expect a range of configurations:

- ASUS Gaming V16 with RTX 4050, 16GB RAM at PHP 62,995 or 8GB RAM at PHP 59,995
- ASUS Gaming X16 with Intel Core i5-13420H, RTX 3050, 8GB RAM at PHP 49,995
All units come with Windows 11 Home and a 2-year international warranty, 1-year accidental damage protection, and a free 3-month PC Game Pass. Buyers will also receive an ASUS backpack with every purchase.
As part of its local launch campaign, ASUS Philippines is teaming up with Genshin Impact. Buyers of eligible ASUS Gaming V16 and X16 units at ASUS and ROG stores will receive an official Genshin Impact mousepad. The promotion runs until June 15, 2025.
