MANILA, Philippines (Jun 30, 2025) – Long lines formed in malls across the Philippines as HONOR launched its latest smartphone, the HONOR 400 5G, marking what the company called a record-breaking first day of sales on June 28.
The release saw crowds gather at various locations including SM Baliwag, SM Mall of Asia, and SM North Edsa to claim pre-ordered units of the new device, positioned as an “AI Phone.”
The launch event was attended by celebrities, including Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados and GMA actress Ashley Ortega. “For months, the team has worked tirelessly to bring Your AI Phone HONOR 400 5G to the Philippine market,” said HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng. “Today’s launch is a proud moment that reflects the success of those efforts.”
According to a press release obtained by our editors, the HONOR 400 5G features a 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide and macro lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera. The device incorporates AI editing tools, including Google’s Veo 2 model, an AI Eraser, and an HD Moving Photo function.
Under the hood, the phone is equipped with a 6000mAh Silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W wired charging, capable of reaching a 40% charge in 15 minutes, the company stated. The device is offered with 24GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The rush on the first day of sales followed a pre-order period from June 17 to 27. The pre-order package included bundled items and gave customers a chance to win a Rolex GMT Master II or a Hermès Lindy Mini Bag.
The HONOR 400 5G is priced at Php 22,999 and is available in Midnight Black, Tidal Blue, and Desert Gold. You can find the new smartphone at HONOR Experience and Partner Stores or purchase it online through Lazada, Shopee, and the TikTok Shop.
