The nubia Neo 5 Series will officially debut at the “Enter the NEOverse: Born To Win” event on March 28 at SM Megamall Fashion Hall. The brand is positioning the lineup as a high-performance gaming series built for players who want competitive-grade hardware without the flagship price tag.
Inspired by REDMAGIC Gaming Lab, the engineering team behind REDMAGIC’s gaming ecosystem, the Neo 5 Series is designed around gaming culture from the ground up. Expect high-refresh-rate displays, powerful processors, advanced cooling systems, physical gaming triggers, and AI-powered gaming optimization across the lineup. Large batteries, immersive audio, and ergonomic builds round out the package for extended play sessions.
What to expect at the launch event
The March 28 event at SM Megamall is built around an interactive gaming universe concept. Attendees can move through experiential booths, complete missions, level up through gaming stations, and unlock exclusive rewards and prizes. Hands-on demos of the Neo 5 Series will be available throughout the venue.
Special guests include actress Sanya Lopez and esports team ONIC Philippines. One of the highlights is a 1v1 gaming segment where fans can compete live on stage against ONIC PH players. A cosplay performance themed around the Neo 5 Series is also part of the program.
The first 100 buyers at the event get up to seven premium freebies per Neo 5 unit purchased, along with special bundles and limited-time deals exclusive to the launch day.
Partnerships and online activations
nubia is bringing brand collaborations to the NEOverse as well. Milk tea brand Yanlala will be on-site, and a tie-up with automotive brand Geely will unveil a big-ticket promotion catering to both gaming and motoring fans.
