MANILA, Philippines (Apr 2026) — Hundreds of squads tried. Only 38 made it through.
Call of Duty: Mobile’s Garena Elite Philippines (GEP) 2026 has officially reached its Group Stage this weekend, April 18-19, with the country’s top CODM teams now competing for a share of a $40,000 (approx. PHP 2.32 million) prize pool — and a shot at glory at the SMX Aura Convention Center in Manila.
What makes this one different from previous tournaments: GEP 2026 is the first local CODM LAN event in the Philippines to feature both Multiplayer (MP) and Battle Royale (BR) formats running simultaneously. That means twice the action, twice the pressure, and a much wider showcase of grassroots talent from across the country.
Battle Royale: 30 teams, two maps, one shot
Out of 394 teams that entered the Battle Royale qualifiers, only 30 have advanced to the Group Stage. Teams including 4Kings, RIGID TSG, and LEAP UNBOUND are among those fighting to stay alive, competing in double round robin matches across Isolated and Blackout maps — with 20-team lobbies running daily from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The top 20 teams will move on to the Playoffs (May 9-10), battling across eight maps. From there, the top 10 will face off in the offline Grand Final on May 23, playing across six maps to crown the BR champion.
Multiplayer: Eight teams, no room for error
The MP bracket is even tighter. Out of 128 qualifier teams, just eight remain: AMG NOCTURNAL, DIVINITY, ELUNARI X, GENESIS, Kingsmen, MG OBLIVION, ROGUE 6, and SKAERI.
The Group Stage runs April 18-19 (5 p.m. to 11 p.m.) and continues April 20-23 (7 p.m. to 11 p.m.), with teams competing in a single round robin, Best-of-3 format. The top four advance directly to the offline Grand Final on May 23, where a single-elimination Playoffs bracket — featuring Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, and Control — will decide the MP champion.
More than a tournament
GEP 2026 is the centerpiece of Garena’s Summer Festival 2026, a broader series of in-game content and community events for Filipino players throughout the season. The Grand Finals weekend gets even bigger on May 24, when the regional Garena Summer Invitational 2026 Grand Finals follow the GEP championship — making it a full two-day live esports event for fans.
Before that, Garena is also staging “Hotspot Attacks,” a series of on-ground fan activations happening nationwide on April 25, May 2, and May 9. Locations will be announced on official social media channels.
Fans can follow all the action on Garena’s official Facebook page at facebook.com/garenacodmPH, on YouTube at youtube.com/GarenaCallofDutyMobile, and across Instagram and TikTok. Call of Duty: Mobile is available as a free download on the App Store and Google Play.
