MANILA, Philippines (May 2026) — Most earbuds play music and take calls. soundcore’s new Liberty 5 Pro Series wants to do a lot more than that.
Launched at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center during Anker Day Philippines on May 23, the Liberty 5 Pro Series is soundcore’s most ambitious TWS lineup to date, built around Thus, Anker’s first neural-net AI chip platform. The series comes in two models: the Liberty 5 Pro at P9,995 (approx. $172) and the Liberty 5 Pro Max at P12,995 (approx. $224).
A chip built like a brain
The Thus chip platform, unveiled globally at Anker Day in New York just two days prior, uses a neural-net compute-in-memory (CIM) architecture. Instead of shuttling data back and forth between memory and processor, it runs AI computation directly inside the memory — a design Anker says dramatically improves efficiency for compact devices like earbuds.
“Today’s consumers expect more than just audio performance,” said Barney Chen, GTM of soundcore Philippines. “They want technology that adapts naturally to the way they work, move, communicate and live.”

Call quality with a world record attached
Both models feature a 10-sensor fusion system combining eight MEMS microphones and two bone conduction sensors. The bone conduction sensors pick up vibrations from the speaker’s skull directly, cross-referencing that data with airborne audio to isolate the user’s voice even in noisy environments.
That approach already earned the Liberty 5 Pro a Guinness World Records recognition for the highest speech quality score (Generalized Mean Opinion Score) for TWS earbuds in objective testing.
ANC that adjusts on the fly
The series also debuts Adaptive ANC 4.0, monitoring environmental and residual in-ear noise at up to 384,000 samples per second. Beyond just blocking sound, it’s designed to minimize the pressure fatigue that bothers a lot of long-time ANC users.
Personalization comes from HearID 5.0, which builds a listening profile based on the user’s hearing sensitivity and behavior, and AI Sound Enhancement, which reconstructs frequency detail lost during wireless compression.

What the Liberty 5 Pro does
The Liberty 5 Pro is the more accessible of the two, aimed at professionals and everyday listeners who want great sound and solid call quality. It adds lag-free voice control for hands-free playback and call management, processed directly on the earbuds.
The charging case also includes a smart touch display called Control at a Glance, letting users switch ANC modes, adjust EQ, manage playback, and answer calls without touching their phone.

What the Liberty 5 Pro Max adds
The Liberty 5 Pro Max takes the concept further into productivity. It’s positioned as the world’s first smart-screen earbuds with a built-in AI Note-Taker, offering on-device recording, real-time transcription, speaker identification, intelligent summaries, and task follow-up organization.
The charging case houses a 1.78-inch AMOLED touchscreen running VibeOS DT, giving users full control over music, ANC, recording, widgets, and personalization directly from the case. Local recording storage holds up to 12 hours of audio with encrypted storage and secure cloud transcription.
Both models share the same core specs: three-device multipoint connectivity, Apple Find My, Google Fast Pair, IP55 dust and water resistance, Bluetooth 6.1, and up to 28 hours of total battery life with the case.

Colors and availability
The Liberty 5 Pro Max comes in Midnight Black and Titanium Gold. The Liberty 5 Pro is available in Pearl Blue, Midnight Black, Pearl White, and Rose Gold.
Purchases made from May 23 to June 23, 2026 through Anker stores nationwide include an extended warranty of up to 24 months. Both models will also be sold through authorized dealers and online via soundcore Philippines and Anker Global on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
