The telco is rolling out a new “Choose Your Own Voucher” program alongside enhanced GFiber Plans, giving eligible subscribers up to PHP 9,000 (approx. $160) in vouchers redeemable with partner brands including TP-Link, Xiaomi, Samsung, Abensons, and Digital Walker. The idea is straightforward: sign up for a GFiber Plan, then use the vouchers to start building out a connected home with smart devices, appliances, or networking gear.
What’s new with GFiber
The updated GFiber Plans are powered by WiFi 7 and offer speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps, a significant jump from what most households currently use. The modems also carry built-in AI that prioritizes traffic based on what a household is doing — so gaming, video calls, 4K streaming, and online classes each get the bandwidth they need without the user having to tinker with settings.
Globe is also leaning into a practical pain point for Pinoy households: brownouts. The updated plans include what Globe calls “Trouble-Free” features, specifically a built-in UPS battery backup and ONU mesh support, designed to keep the connection alive even when the power goes out. For homes that rely on their internet connection for work, security cameras, or smart appliances, that kind of continuity matters.

The voucher program effectively gives new or upgrading subscribers a head start on outfitting their home with the devices that make a fast connection useful, rather than leaving them to figure it out on their own.
