CEBU CITY, Philippines (Aug 2026): Local entrepreneurs are finding new ways to scale their operations as the region experiences massive economic expansion, prompting logistics giant 2GO Group Inc. to step up its regional transport solutions. As trade increases, the demand for efficient supply chains has become a top priority for companies trying to reach markets outside the Visayas.

Keeping up with the economic boom

To address these shipping bottlenecks, local business owners and government leaders recently gathered at the 2GO Business Forum to map out the future of regional trade. The gathering, organized in partnership with the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, focused on the day-to-day operational struggles that homegrown enterprises face when moving goods across the country.

Finding better ways to travel and ship

According to Hannah Lucero, the corporate communications manager for marketing at 2GO, the event allowed participants to explore how specialized travel and logistics solutions can support local expansion. By addressing transport gaps, the company aims to make it easier for Pinoy enterprises to scale their reach and keep supply lines moving without heavy delays.
