The Miriam College – Junior Financial Executives (MC JFINEX) is a co-curricular organization for Finance and Investments Management students in Miriam College. This academic year, the organization conforms to its commitment of upholding each member to reach their full potential by providing avenues to enhance one’s skills, as well as with meaningful opportunities that will ensure growth that is relevant to our future as financial leaders of the country.
In line with our principle, the MC JFINEX proudly presents our main event for this academic year’s MC Competitive Excellence Week entitled, “MCX: Level Up Edition.”
It is an intercollegiate learning game, which simulates trading in an organized stock exchange and aims to supplement textbook and classroom learning by providing students with an authentic realistic experience in buying and selling stocks using virtual cash. It also allows students to practice investment and portfolio management theories and techniques.
The MCX Stock Exchange Challenge is powered by the CBEA Capital Markets Trading Simulator Facility and JFINEX. Through this game, participants will better understand the role of various market participants and financial intermediaries, market forces, market psychology, market competition and emotions among others.
The event will be held on March 28, 2019 (Thursday) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Miriam College, Quezon City, with numerous other universities and colleges competing.
