MANILA, Philippines – ABS-CBN’s realiserye “I Do” will teach not only its contestant couples but also its viewers who plan to get married the importance of being financially ready before tying the knot this weekend (Sept 27 and 28).
How much do couples nowadays need to support their needs as a couple, and later on as a family? How do they get their finances in order to have a financially secure future? All of these will answered in “I Do” with the help of financial guru Francisco Colayco.
A couple who will find themselves at the center of the discussion is Chad, a waiter and Sheela, who still doesn’t have savings or investments. How will they prove that they have what it takes to maintain a strong relationship despite their financial strains?
Aside from taking financial advice, some of the couples will face family issues head on and will demonstrate the importance of supporting each other in solving individual concerns.
And which couple will be sent home by the council because of their unpreparedness for a married life and problems they have yet to resolve?
“I Do,” an original concept, tests couples and their relationships via a series of challenges until in the end, the strongest couple that exemplifies a healthy relationship remains. The winning couple will be determined by public votes and will get their dream grand wedding, P1 million, house and lot, and a negosyo package.
