PHILIPPINES – Amazon Web Service (AWS) is powering startups in the Philippines, including Seedin, a business financing platform that helps fund local startups. The company recently migrated their infrastructure from its datacenter in Singapore to AWS, resulting in stability and rapid scalability.

The AWS startup team exists to help startups build and grow successful businesses. Startups around the world like Airbnb, Slack, Netflix, Grab and many more, all started with AWS and have gone on to transform their industries.

AWS offers a broad range of programs and initiatives to support startups at every stage of their lifecycle, from early-stage through to maturity. At the earliest stages, our AWS Activate program provides qualified startups with a host of benefits, including AWS credits, technical support, and training.

For startups entering more mature stages of their life cycle, AWS regularly leverages our network to facilitate connections in the startup and investor community.

A program called Enterprise Connect introduces startups to potential enterprise clients. Globally, more than 1,200 connections were made through the program in 2019, and more than 700 have been made so far in 2020.
