ADM Cares and Pawssion Project Collaborate to Advance Pet Welfare in the Philippines

ADM, a global frontrunner in human, pet, and animal nutrition, has joined forces with Pawssion Project, a non-profit organization committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming pets, in a mutual drive to enhance pet well-being across the Philippines.

Through ADM Cares, the company’s corporate social responsibility initiative, ADM is making a substantial contribution to establish a dedicated 25 sqm area within Pawssion Project’s shelter, specifically designed for paraplegic dogs and cats. This specialized space will house a hydrotherapy facility, aiding in the rehabilitation of rescues. Simultaneously, it will facilitate the nourishment of all the pets. ADM Pet Nutrition will provide comprehensive and balanced pet food, including Ganador® – a high-quality dog food suitable for all breeds and life stages, and Minino® – a professional cat food catering to felines of all ages and sizes.

“At ADM, we strongly believe in the potency of community and empathy. Our partnership with Pawssion Project stands as evidence of our unswerving dedication to creating a positive influence in the communities where we operate,” expressed Clare Torralba, Director of Pet Nutrition, Asia-Pacific excluding China (APeC). Torralba further added, “Pawssion Project has exhibited an exceptional track record in providing care and homes to rescued pets since 2018. Their mission resonated with us, compelling us to support their noble cause and ensure the betterment of pet welfare in the Philippines.”

This timely contribution will propel Pawssion Project’s vision of rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding new homes for abused and neglected pets.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH. The donation from ADM Cares will positively impact over 300 dogs and 50 cats at Pawssion Project, offering crucial support to the rescued animals.

With this partnership and donation, our aspirations for these pets are now within reach. ADM’s dedication to animal welfare sets a remarkable example of how collective efforts can create a profound impact. We firmly believe that their support will open doors for public and private sector support alike.”

Johanna Emata, ADM Philippines Business Development Manager for Pet Nutrition, reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting organizations like Pawssion Project. “We firmly believe in extending love, kindness, and compassion to all animals. Our aim is to ensure these shelters possess the necessary resources to care for the pets under their guardianship.” Raymond Molina, Trade Marketing Manager, APeC, added, “We will continue championing organizations dedicated to meaningful causes. Our hope is that this collaboration paves the way for a brighter future for our four-legged companions.”
