Riot Games and Virgin Music Group have teamed up to drop a brand-new version of “What Have They Done to Us,” featuring the soul-stirring vocals of Sasha Alex Sloan. Originally composed by Mako and Grey, this remix offers a fresh emotional take on the standout track from Arcane League of Legends: Season 2 (Soundtrack From The Animated Series).

Fans can look forward to more sonic surprises with a deluxe extended edition of the soundtrack scheduled for release in spring 2025. This expanded album promises additional remixes and guest features, building on the soundtrack’s already impressive success, which has racked up over 1.1 billion global streams.
Sloan, a self-proclaimed Arcane fan, expressed her excitement: “I’m a huge fan of the show, and when I got presented with the opportunity, I was SO excited! I feel so lucky to be involved in such an amazing project. I hope people enjoy my small part in this incredible show.”
Released in November 2024, the original track by Mako and Grey has amassed over 17.2 million streams globally, with 1.5 million of those streams coming from Southeast Asia—a clear sign of the show’s and soundtrack’s resonance with Filipino fans.
