His Highness Tunku Zain Al-’Abidin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz of Malaysia, more popularly known as Tunku Abidin Muhriz, is the second son of the current King of the Malaysian state Negeri Sembilan. After working in a number of think tanks such as the UK Houses of Parliament, and as a Public Sector Consultant at the World Bank, Tunku Abidin initiated relevant and impactful initiatives, including some that were done together with the United Nations. He is the founding president of the Institute of Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), a nonprofit research institute that pursues market-based solutions to public policy challenges. Additionally, His Highness Tunku Abidin Muhriz also has the heart to drive the Malaysian education system to greater heights as he has organized various programs concerned with education and the development of the young minds, and addressed pressing issues in the academic sphere at various forums.
With this, the AYCS 2021 is pleased to welcome His Highness Tunku Zain Al-’Abidin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz of Malaysia as one of the speakers in the Global Affairs Panel forum on September 10, 2021, following the Launch Day of FORSEA: ASEAN Youth Career Summit 2021 (AYCS 2021) on September 9. This international event hosts the top multinational corporations, start-ups, embassies, and governmental organizations in the whole Southeast Asian region as it aims to provide global and local job opportunities and employment consultations for future professionals of the Global Affairs and Business fields through (1) insightful panel discussions, (2) internship and work openings, (3) flexible forums about the ASEAN job market, and (4) professional workshops by career experts and curators.
As the first international Lasallian-led ASEAN Youth Career Summit, AYCS 2021 proudly features a powerhouse of De La Salle University’s very own President, Br. Bernard Oca, F.S.C., Ms. Rosanna Llenado (CEO of AHEAD Learning Systems), H.E. Kung Phoak (Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community), and Mr. Brandon Lee (Group Director of Workforce Singapore) as the keynote speakers in its Launch Day who will ignite the passion of within the delegates as they become young professionals by imparting their wisdom and sharing their purpose. AYCS 2021 has also invited Devcurate’s CEO & Founder, Mr. Aanas Ali and Boldr’s Impact Manager, Ms. Glo Anne Guevarra, who will deliver skills and values-based workshops aiming to implant knowledge in our generation regarding networking, resume writing, and creating a social impact in our jobs.
In its second day, AYCS 2021 has also organized a Corporate Panel forum featuring prestigious businessmen and world-class corporate executives who contribute to global economic and societal developments in the ASEAN community. Atty.
