I got a chance to have my hands on to one of the powerful laptops from ASUS, the Zenbook Pro 15. I look at it as one of the best laptops that i've tried that comes with a hefty price. But Let me justify why this beauty is worth the price, and why it stood up from the rest.
Sleek design
As compared to other laptops, The Zenbook Pro 15 is 15" wide, 18.9mm thin and it comes with a deep blue hue color.
The Zenbook Pro may be wide enough for some, but it is packed with the Intel Core 7 processor and a GTX 1050Ti. this alone makes this baby one of the powerful laptops when it comes to performance and can handle big applications from streaming games, video rendering/editing and many more.
The laptop is weighted at 1.88kg, a bit heavy for casual users but as compared to the other powerful gaming laptops around, this one is lighter and more sleek.
Good thing that despite the wideness of the Zenbook Pro, it doesn't have the number pad and the keys are evenly spaced out, plus it's easier to type and it is light to touch.
The left part of the Zenbook has the DC/in, HDMI port and two Thunderport 3 ports. the right side has two USB USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type A ports, a combo audio jack and a MicroSD slot. With this I prefer to have the full size MicroSD slot for it's a pain to just insert the smaller MicroSD slot on the side for some reason.
In awe with the ScreenPad
If there is something that I also like about the Zenbook Pro, I would say that it's the ScreenPad. It has a 1080p resolution that produces lovely and bright colors because of its IPS display. it also functions as a second monitor for I can use the Screenpad to also navigate my desktop screen, access my office applications, watching a movie and stream some music using spotify. I can say that I can multitask more applications thanks to this feature.
A bit of a downside though, there are some lagging moments when streaming and/or just navigating on some apps using the ScreeenPad. But still it's one of the Zenbook's unique features.
You can use the Screenpad as a separate monitor, a smaller control for apps and as a regular touchpad. You can also turn the ScreenPad off if needed.
Astounding multimedia output
It was a joy watching movies, playing online games and even creating graphics using the Zenbook because of its display! it has a 15.6-inch IPS FHD non-touch display @ 1920 x 1080 resolution that boasts 178-degree viewing angles, 100% Adobe RGB color gamut, PANTONE validation that produces the brightest color display. For design-minded people, this is one of the best features that is included in this machine.
Bundled Applications
The Zenbook Pro 15 comes with the Windows 10 16bit with the usual apps like Skype, Mail and many others. There are also some applications from ASUS installed (Asus Giftbox to name a few) and also apps for ScreenPad like ScreenPad Mail, ScreenPad Calculator and ScreenPad Spotify.
There are cases that there are pre-installed applications from Asus phones and laptops, good thing that in the Zenbook Pro they limit the number of pre-installed apps, so yay for extra storage for much-needed apps!
Outstanding performance
The Zenbook that I had is packed with the Intel Core i7 8750/BGA processor, 4GB VRAM, 1TB PCIe SSD and 16G DDR4 RAM. Its performance is at par and can handle all applications from the basic ones to the graphics-heavy online games.
Love that I never had any lagging problems whenever I'm in Steam (CS:GO, DOTA2, ROS) so I can say that this machine is a good alternative to other gaming laptops, minus the weight.

Lasting battery life
Love that the Zenbook lasted for 8 hours on me, all while i'm doing the blogging edits, watching anime streams on Netflix and listening to MADZ via Spotify. Charging time takes less than 2 hours so this is ok for me.
Overall
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 is listed at Php 119,995. Pretty pricey but with if you're a performance gamer or a designer looking for powerful specs and features, I think this is a worthy investment.
