MANILA, Philippines – ABS-CBN’s top-rating primetime drama series “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” recently ended on a high note as the series starring Bea Alonzo and Paulo Avelino reached its all-time high national TV rating last Friday (October 10).
According to data from Kantar Media, the finale episode of Bea and Paulo’s teleserye recorded its highest national TV rating since it began in June. It scored a national TV rating of 27.3%, or 13 points higher that its rival program in GMA “Hiram na Alaala” (14%).
Aside from ratings, “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” also reigned in social networking sites such as Twitter, where the show’s official hashtag #SPAK1Self became a worldwide trending topic due to the positive tweets of netizens about the series’ last episode.
“Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” concluded with Rose finally getting the well-deserved justice for the deaths of her father Henry (Chinggoy Alonzo) and her former lawyer Emmanuelle (also portrayed by Bea). She also got the chance to start her life all over again with her husband Patrick (Paulo) and their families.
Under the direction of Trina Dayrit and Jerome Pobocan, “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” also stars Albert Martinez, Dina Bonnevie, Tonton Gutierrez, Maricar Reyes, Malou Crisologo, Nikki Valdez, Francis Magundayao, and Michelle Vito, with veteran artists Eddie Garcia, Anita Linda, and Susan Roces. “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” is under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the group that created top-rating TV masterpieces such as “Walang Hanggan,” “Ina Kapatid Anak,” and “Juan dela Cruz.”
