The track serves as the second glimpse into her upcoming album, “Pylon,” which is scheduled to drop on Sept. 18, 2026, under Dirty Hit and Interscope Records.
Embracing the beautiful mess of growing up
The raw new single dives deep into emotional vulnerability and self-defense, exploring whether it is braver to fight or flee. According to the London-raised artist, whose real name is Beatrice Laus, the upcoming record is about accepting negative feelings, confusion, and insecurity as necessary steps toward personal growth.
“Pylon” follows her massive success with “This Is How Tomorrow Moves,” her first album to reach No. 1 on the UK Official Album Chart in 2024. The album’s first single, “Sun Has Set,” was launched last month to widespread acclaim alongside a creative video directed by her partner, Jake Erland.
A massive arena run is on the horizon
To support the new record, the artist is embarking on the “Powerlines Tour,” marking her first-ever arena shows and her largest tour to date. The Live Nation-promoted tour kicks off on Oct. 1, 2026, with stops at world-famous venues like Madison Square Garden and The Kia Forum.
The North American leg of the tour will feature support from Wisp, making stops in Philadelphia, Pa.; Boston, Mass.; New York, N.Y.; and Los Angeles, Calif., before the tour heads to the UK and Europe later this year.
