Tale as old as time… and the tale never gets old.

The wait is over Disney fans as we will see another rendition of Disney’s fairy tales. From Cinderella to Maleficent and more, Disney has brought us another remake of one of their most loved animated films – Beauty and Beast. You’ve read it right! After 26 years, Beauty and the Beast will swept us off our seats once again this March 16, 2017 with its live-action remake.

If you have not watched Beauty and the Beast (which is totally odd by the way), then this is your chance to watch it in a different level. This classical fairytale romance was adapted from the original Disney 1991 version. Beauty and the Beast features some of Disney’s most recognizable songs (from the classic pop song Be Our Guests to the all-time favorite Tale As Old As Time), and made Disney films known for the beauty of its film aesthetics.

Beauty and the Beast tells a tale of a prince who was cursed by an enchantress and all who lived in his kingdom. To break the curse, the prince-turned-to-beast must learn to love before his 21st birthday or, if not, he will forever remain a beast. But enough with the backstory because you can actually watch the animated version on the internet, let’s go to the real deal now.

A few months ago, Disney has released the official trailer of the 2017 Beauty and the Beast which stars Emma Watson, and directed by Twilight director Bill Condon. Casting Emma as Belle was a sure approve (not only to Potterheads and Emma’s fans) but to the whole crew as well. Even the original voice of Belle, Paige O’Hara, definitely agrees on her casting. Beast will be played by Dan Stevens while Luke Evans as Gaston.

There are a two things we can point out about the trailer. One is that it does not show too much singing and dancing. The trailer composed of little dialogues such as Belle saying “Hello” or Beasts asking Belle if she would take her father’s place. Yet, fans are still hoping that the creative and production team would decide to relive some of the classic songs in its animated version. We are still hoping Walt, yes we are.

The second one is the starting vibe of the trailer which quite made the film a bit more appealing. Condon’s trailer interpretation is a bit dark which actually is the theme of Beauty and the Beast. Also, expect a less Technicolor opulences because, well you know why.

If you still haven’t had any idea with what I am talking about, hit play to watch the official trailer of 2017’s Beauty and the Beast.

That surely gives you thrills! So what are you waiting for? Mark your calendars now! Experience the tale as old as time again.
