MANILA, Philippines (Jun 2026) — Agent Lara Angeles has spent her career trusting her gut. Now she has to doubt the person who raised her.
In the new series “Blood vs Duty,” Bela Padilla plays Lara, an agent who uncovers evidence that her adoptive father, Gen. Manuel Carillo, may be behind a deadly bus bombing that killed tourists, including a Japanese investor’s family. The blast also injured Task Force Alpha operative Jalil.
A mission that turns personal
The teaser shows Lara confronting Datu Rahman, a figure from her past connected to her biological parents’ deaths. She wants answers. Her father wants silence. When Felix enters the picture, the tension turns violent and someone’s life hangs in the balance.

With General Carillo’s destabilization plot unfolding, Task Force Alpha must stop him before more lives are destroyed. Marcus and Jalil, part of the rescue team, are caught in both the investigation and the crossfire.
