PHILIPPINES – Filipino band Ben&Ben has unveiled a duet rendition of their single “Autumn” featuring actress Belle Mariano. This new version is part of the official soundtrack for ABS-CBN’s popular primetime series, “Can’t Buy Me Love.”
“Autumn” delves into the complexities of a relationship challenged by distance, composed by Ben&Ben’s Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin. Collaborating with ABS-CBN Music’s creative director Jonathan Manalo and Jean Paul Verona, the band previously released the original version of the song last November.
Belle Mariano, known for her recent album “Somber” that soared to the top of iTunes Philippines album chart upon release, contributed her talent to this rendition. Beyond her musical success, she’s acclaimed for her acting prowess, particularly in series like “He’s Into Her” and romantic comedies such as “Love Is Color Blind” and “An Inconvenient Love.” Currently, Belle stars in “Can’t Buy Me Love” alongside Donny Pangilinan.
Meanwhile, Ben&Ben, an award-winning folk-pop band from Manila, has earned acclaim for their heartfelt lyrics, distinctive musicality, and energetic stage presence. They’re committed to infusing depth into their music, creating songs that echo themes of hope, love, and positivity.
With a cumulative streaming count surpassing two billion on Spotify alone, Ben&Ben has secured a prominent spot on the Spotify Philippines Top 50. They hold the record for the most #1 hits on the platform for OPM (Original Pilipino Music) and are the most streamed OPM artist overall.
