TAGUIG, Philippines (Mar 2026) — The “BINI-fever” just hit a fever pitch. Over the weekend, the nation’s girl group proved their stratospheric rise is far from over, drawing a massive, record-breaking crowd of 15,804 fans to Ayala Malls Market! Market! for their “Signal Detected” event.
The turnout was double the audience from their performance at the same venue just two years ago, according to the mall’s security team. But the sea of Blooms didn’t just come for the hits—they were treated to a massive triple-reveal: a new EP, a brand-new concert tour, and a final send-off before the girls take the global stage.
A new era with ‘Signals’
Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena officially announced their upcoming EP titled Signals, scheduled to drop on April 9. Fans got an early taste of the new sound with live performances of “Unang Kilig” and “Honey Honey.”
The celebration also marked a major digital milestone, as the group toasted to 600 million Spotify streams for their previous Talaarawan EP. To keep the momentum going, BINI surprised the crowd by announcing the Signals concert tour, hitting the SM Mall of Asia Arena on June 20 followed by a stop at the SM Seaside Cebu Arena on July 11.
Bringing P-pop to the desert
The timing of the EP release is strategic, landing just one day before BINI makes history as the first Filipino girl group to perform at Coachella in California. The girls are set to take the stage on April 10 and 17, with the festival being livestreamed globally via YouTube.
“We are bringing your energy and your stories to the world stage,” Maloi told the cheering crowd. “We are ready to share Filipino music on a bigger platform.”
Global superstardom
Beyond the local charts, BINI is cementing its status as a global act. The group recently joined the superfan platform Weverse, placing them alongside international heavyweights like BTS, Seventeen, and Ariana Grande.
