MAKATI, Philippines – Brother Philippines celebrated its 15th year of operations at an event held in Green Sun Hotel, Makati on Friday, January 29.
The celebration was hosted by Phoemela Baranda and attended by celebrity guests Doug and Cheska Gracia-Kramer, Jeric and Jeron Teng, and Elmo Magalona.
The Japanese company first set foot in the Philippines in year 2000, establishing a sales office selling facsimile nothing but machines under former Brother Philippines President Takatoshi Kawakami.
From its first full-year sales of Php 65 million, the company now generates over Php 1 billion in sales thanks to its dedicated workforce and extensive network of provincial offices, accredited distributors, nationwide resellers, and a network of Authorized Service Centers.
The company is currently led by Brother Philippines President Glenn P. Hocson, who attributes success to having the right products, committed partners, dedicated associates, and adherence to global standards.
Brother Philippines is known for its customer first approach, embodying the “At your side” mantra to provide quality products and services to its customers.
These include high speed laser and inkjet printers, multi-function centers (MFCs), sewing machines, and label makers.
Brother Philippines has also been proactive in giving back to communities and protecting the environment, supporting reforestation efforts to revive the Marikina Wathershed.
Other corporate social responsibility projects include the adoption of a school under the Brigada Eskwela and Lakbay Aral programs, livelihood projects with the Ati of Boracay, and participation in the Philippine Cancer Society’s “Relay for LIfe” activity.
Moving forward, Hocson promises to further intensify customer engagement through the “Customer Plus Program”. The company also aims to expand sales to the Philippine government.
“In the next years, we will be working hard towards welcoming another 15 years of fulfilling growth as we help more Filipinos with the products that we provide them. We are committed to giving them the best of technology to make working at their homes and offices more productive and efficient,” says Hocson.
Congratulations, Brother Philippines!
