BOARACAY, Philippines – CityMall Boaracay is now open. A project of CityMall Commercial Centers Inc. (CMCCI), the community mall development arm of DoubleDragon Properties Corp. (DD), CityMall-Boracay is expected to be the top commercial destination in the area, offering convenience, entertainment and everything you might need under one roof.

“We’re excited to give residents and tourists in Boracay a true mall lifestyle experience on the island,” relates Ferdinand Sia, DoubleDragon Properties Corp. President. “As CityMall gears to become the most dominant everyday mall for Filipinos, we felt that we definitely had to open a mall in one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country to serve the local community and the thousands of tourists who come here.”

Anchoring the Boracay mall is a full-size SM SaveMore outlet, the first full-service supermarket that serves the needs of local residents and commercial establishments. CityMall-Boracay will also continue its signature foodcourt concept, “FoodWorld,” which will offer top fast food brands such as Jollibee, Mang Inasal, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon and Highlands Coffee.

In line with the company’s commitment to sustainable development, CityMall-Boracay also has the innovative feature of being “greenergized.” Solar panels are set to be installed on the roofdeck of the mall while water is sourced through a rainwater harvesting system.

CityMall-Boracay is the 14th CityMall to be built in the Philippines and the company expects at least 30 operating CityMalls this year 2017 for a total of 100 outlets nationwide by year 2020.
