MANILA, Philippines (Jul 2026) — Coco Martin is taking over Cinema One every Friday this July, and the lineup is exactly what a Friday night movie demands.
The channel is rolling out a string of his blockbuster hits, from fantasy heroes to laugh-out-loud team-ups, under a new Blockbuster Sundays and Friday Action block.
Ang Panday leads the charge
The schedule opens with Ang Panday on July 3. Flavio, a humble blacksmith, discovers he is destined to wield a mystical sword and become the legendary Panday. Evil forces threaten the land, and he has to battle his way through them to protect the people he loves. It is part origin story, part Filipino fantasy, and entirely watchable.
Beauty and the Bestie pairs Coco with Vice Ganda
On July 10, Beauty and the Bestie teams Emman and Erika, two childhood best friends who drifted apart, on a high-stakes mission to take down a crime syndicate. The combination of action, disguises, and Vice Ganda’s humor makes this one of the lighter entries in the lineup.
Jack Em Popoy brings Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza
Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles arrives on July 17, pairing Jack with a father-daughter police duo played by Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza. The unlikely partnership uncovers a criminal network while the script squeezes out comedy and explosive encounters in equal measure.
