MANILA, Philippines – Here are some of the more important things that make it to the top of a bride-to-be’s wish list:
The perfect dress, the perfect day, all perfectly captured on film and video for posterity—something that Colgate Optic White hoped to give future brides with their Dream Wedding Promo. But as Colgate Optic White’s ambassador Solenn Heusaff shares, “—planning and executing the perfect wedding can be stressful and worrisome.”
“I’m sure, for most girls, since they were really young, they think about their wedding and they say…I need to be radiant, that big bright smile, the twinkle in their eye. It has to be perfect,” Stephanie Kienle-Gonzalez notes.
But even the most romantic, well-planned weddings can succumb to a flower girl refusing to walk down the aisle or an inaccurate weather forecast for the big day.
“My wedding was held in December. So I was a little worried about the weather,” shares Optic White ambassador, beauty titlist and full-time mom, Maggie Wilson-Consunji. “And true enough, it did rain on our wedding day.” She laughs.
Still, the draw of having the country’s most sought after wedding videographer and photographer capture each special moment through their lenses is too good to pass up. This prompted numerous brides to send in a 40-second video answering Colgate Optic White’s question: “What’s your biggest wedding worry?”
Among all the entries, Precious V. Pasia’s dream of having a wedding in a small chapel on a bright, sunny day with all her loved ones present captured the Optic White Team’s attention.
“Of course there are things that you don’t have full control of—“ she starts. “Flower girls not walking because they have sumpong, someone spilling coffee on my wedding gown and of course, my groom not showing up.”
“We were hopeful that we would win. We had fun with it and encouraged our family members to help us out. It was quite an experience because it brought our two families together,” she continued.
Her candid take on wedding worries earned her the highest score combined from the Colgate Optic White team and public votes, which means Precious will now have the privilege of having acclaimed videographer, Jason Magbanua and wedding photographer, Pat Dy documenting her milestone event.
“Despite all the trappings and the pomp, never forget the ultimate reason you’re doing this—to commit to forever with the single, most important person in your life,” Magbanua advises.
“It’s the one day in your life where literally all eyes will be on you, and it’s a day you’ll want to relive over and over,” says Dy. “I’ve taken hundreds and thousands of photographs, and it’s really the perfect white smile that makes all the difference,” he adds.
A wedding is meant to be a celebration; and stressing about every little detail to make sure it goes perfectly is not worth it if it means not seeing the bride’s beautiful smile on what should be the happiest day of her life. With Colgate Optic White promising one shade whiter teeth after just one week*, Precious and other brides can be sure to have one less thing to worry about on her special day – that perfect white wedding smile.
“It’s your day so enjoy every moment of it. Your wedding day will go by so fast, so just breathe in all the positive energy, relax and flash that beautiful smile. Your photos and videos will last you a lifetime,” ends stylist and model as well as Optic White Ambassador, Cat Arambulo-Antonio says.
And with Colgate Optic White, Precious will have one less thing to worry about on her wedding day. Not only will she be one of the happiest people on her wedding, she’ll have the best team to make sure her special day will be remembered by everyone.
