MANILA, Philippines (Mar 2026) — CookieRun has been around since 2009, but it has never done anything quite like this. Devsisters just announced CookieRun: OvenSmash, the franchise’s first real-time PvP battle action game, and pre-registration is open right now across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Pre-registering gets you 10,000 in-game Coins on day one. Regional milestone rewards are also stacking up as sign-ups climb, including Epic Cookie Soulchips, over 1,000 Crystals, and two SEA-exclusive cosmetics unavailable anywhere else in the game. Hit 1 million pre-registrations and everyone unlocks the Summer Spirit Set skin. Following the official channels also gets you a shot at bonus Crystals and a free Snowy Bear Ears cosmetic.
Physical prizes are also in play for lucky winners: a DJ Miya Headset, CookieRun: OvenSmash Controllers, and a DJ Miya Plushie.
What kind of game is it
OvenSmash ditches the endless runner formula entirely. Matches are capped at three minutes and built around real-time competitive play with eight distinct combat roles: Mage, Tank, Bruiser, Marksman, Support, Controller, Bomber, and Assassin. The meta is already taking shape before the game has even launched.
The game is set in Platter City, a new urban fantasy hub where characters from across the CookieRun universe come together, including the iconic GingerBrave alongside new additions like Melon Soda Cookie and Icepop Cookie.
The feature that is already generating the most discussion is Spell Cards, wild card abilities that can swing a losing match in seconds and are expected to produce a deep combo meta once the community gets its hands on them. Game modes include Castle Crasher, Wild Royale, and Gnome Battle.
