Creativity Camp: Learn AI, AR, and 3D animation at Glorietta Makati [devent]

MAKATI CITY, Philippines (Jul 2025) – Power Mac Center’s Basecamp is bringing back its popular Creativity Camp, a summer workshop series aimed at equipping kids and teens aged 7 to 15 with essential digital skills using iPad and Mac devices. The program, running from May to June, offers hands-on sessions in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), podcasting, animation, and Augmented Reality (AR).

The Creativity Camp is designed to foster innovation and digital literacy among young learners. Maleng Raysag, Basecamp’s head, stated that the program provides “an exclusive opportunity to explore next-generation technologies through engaging, hands-on experiences.” She emphasized that the goal is to equip participants with the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate the evolving digital landscape. Basecamp is recognized as an Apple Professional Learning Provider, one of only two in Asia, ensuring high-quality education that promotes creativity and critical thinking.

The camp features two distinct tracks: “iPad Fun: Design & Tell Stories” and “Mac Makers: Art & AI Adventures.” The iPad track includes “3D and AR Creators: Build and Bring Stories to Life,” where participants will learn 3D design and AR, and “Creative Storytelling: Podcast and Animation Fun,” which focuses on writing, recording, and animating stories. These iPad workshops are scheduled on select dates in May and June, with both morning and afternoon sessions available.

For Mac users, “Digital Designers: Create in 2D & 3D” allows aspiring artists and designers to explore 2D and 3D design using Mac applications. The “Make Your Own AI: Fun with Smart Technology” course introduces kids to the fundamentals of AI, enabling them to build smart models without coding. These Mac-focused workshops also run on various dates in May and June, with flexible session times.

Each course costs P6,000 per student, inclusive of Apple device use, and consists of two-hour sessions held twice a week. Participants are grouped by age to optimize the learning experience. Reservations are limited and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis upon completion of a non-refundable but transferable payment, which can be made via bank deposit.

All workshops will be conducted at the Basecamp Training Center located on the 3rd Floor, Glorietta 5, Ayala Center, Makati City.
