MANILA, Philippines – From their refreshing high tea in the afternoons to their exquisite rooftop teppanyaki, City Garden Grand Hotel’s newest F&B offerings are bound to steal the show during the merriest times of 2015.

At the hotel lobby is The Cinnamon Bark, a much appreciated cafe serving a range of pastries and sandwiches for short meets and quick departures for the office.

A wide range of teas as well as a full-service espresso machine means the hotel’s guests can choose their preferred perk-up to start their day.

The in-house kitchen, led by executive chef Dennis Peralta and his patissiers, has prepared a crop of treats perfect for take-out lovers and lobby loungers. The 45-peso ensaymada comes highly recommended.

Up at the Firefly Roofdeck on the 32nd floor, al fresco fans will have more reasons to drink and dine under the stars with its newest teppanyaki and sake offerings. A modern take on the classic teppan favorites such as chicken, squid (both at P385) salmon (P625), beef tenderloin (P725), and rib eye (P975), the meal includes chawanmushi (a popular egg custard treat), miso soup, and gohan. Complementary to the experience is an exploration into sake. The City Garden Grand Hotel now serves a range of options: Gincho Namachozo (P125), Kirei Peach (P145), Gouka Sennen Junmai Daiginjo (P195), or Junmai Daiginjo Shu –Kazaemon (P480).
