On November 20 and 21, 2019, De La Salle University (DLSU) will hold its 7th DLSU Innovation and Technology (DITECH) Fair. The fair will be held at the Richard L. Lee Engineering and Technology Block, Laguna Campus, De La Salle University. DITECH Fair 2019, which takes the theme “Innovation Next: DITECH@Laguna”, aims to celebrate the innovative and creative capabilities of DLSU and its partners. The theme also draws focus to the DLSU Laguna Campus, which shall serve as the venue for the DITECH Fair for the first time. DITECH Fair 2019 further has the following sub-themes:
- Innovation for sustainability under the 17 Sustainability Development Goals
- Innovation for global competitiveness of Philippine business
- Innovation for public good
- Innovation-driven entrepreneurship
- Innovation-conscious policymaking
DITECH Fair 2019 will feature talks and panel discussions about the above topics. The panel discussions for this year’s fair are on:
- The Philippine Innovation Ecosystem
- DLSU-Industry Collaboration
- Creative Arts and Technologies towards Social Innovation
- Inclusive Innovation
DITECH Fair 2019 will also feature:
- An exhibit of innovations from DLSU and its partners
- Messages from Atty. Josephine Rima-Santiago of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, Mr. Richard L. Lee of the HARI Foundation, Inc., and Former DOST Secretary and Former NAST President Dr. William Padolina
- Tours of the DLSU Laguna Campus
- The Animo Labs Green Archer Innovation Awards 2019
- An Open Mic celebration
- An Academe-Industry Networking cocktail
Concurrent with the DITECH Fair 2019 is the 1st National Innovation and Technology Conference, which will be held at the DLSU Manila campus on November 19, 2019 and at the DLSU Laguna campus on November 20, 2019.
