For the past nine months, the most pressing issues in the Philippines have only been aggravated by the COVID-19 pandemic, making everyday living more difficult for the poor and marginalized. More than ever, we are compelled to help those who are most vulnerable to not only the usual barrage of food shortages and natural calamities but also the public health crisis.
In the spirit of the holiday season, the UP Manila Chorale in partnership with Tulong Kabataan presents its first ever virtual beneficiary Christmas concert series entitled “Dose: Iba’t Ibang Mukha ng Paskong Pilipino” on December 14-25, 2020 at 7:00PM! It will feature several classic and well-loved Christmas carols from both the local and international music scene. Donations from the event will all go to the victims of the recent typhoons that struck our country, whose situations became more critical due to livelihood instability and the threat of the virus upon evacuation to crowded and deficient shelters.

Let us continue coordinating with nationwide efforts to provide assistance because the crisis is far from over. Christmas may be different this year but we can still celebrate it with our communities by upholding the spirit of helping others!
