Ex-couple gives their relationship a chance after watching the movie ‘A Second Chance’

When was the last time you watched a movie that changed your life?

“A Second Chance” the blockbuster hit movie of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo is successful not only for earning a whooping 400 million pesos in just 10 days but also touching the lives of many.

Chi De Ville shared in Facebook  what happened to her and her ex-boyfriend after watching the phenomenal movie.

Chi seemed to become a Basha in “One More Chance” when she feels alone despite they she and her boyfriend are always together. When she felt that their relationship is falling apart and leads nowhere, he courageously asked the guy to let her go. Her boyfriend agreed to end their relationship so that it would not hurt to Chi anymore and just decided to be friends.

After their emotional conversation, they decided to watch A Second Chance.

For the past few weeks, i can feel that our relationship is falling apart. Sometimes, i feel alone eventhough we’re together. Just yesterday, i had all the intentions of breaking up with him. I asked him to meet me and talk about it. He felt the need to let me go because he can see that i was getting hurt and disappointed by what we have become. The ‘talk’ was somewhat blurry but we both agreed to stay as friends. We watched ‪#‎ASecondChance‬ after our conversation.

After watching the movie, the wind between them had changed. They started to appreciate each feelings and sacrifices. Chi finally realized that her boyfriend was getting hurt too and she has her own shortcomings.

Tinamaan kaming dalawa sa mga scenes and hugot lines. We were both crying as the movie ended. Then, we talked some more. That movie really helped us understand each other’s feelings and sacrifices. I realized that he was getting hurt, too. While i was busy pointing out his shortcomings, i didn’t realize that at some point, may pagkukulang din ako.

Finally, Chi and her boyfriend gave their relationship a second chance. She encouraged couples who are going through challenges to watch the movie so they will see their relationship in a whole new perspective.

Bottom line is, we are not perfect. We will struggle, we will have fights, we will make decisions and we will surpass emotional battles. I know we can, just as long as we are together. I love him and that will never change. If you guys are going through some tough times with your partners, try to watch the movie. It will give you a whole new perspective.
