Extraordinail’s extraordinary beginning started out when the owner, Veronica Resureccion, had been looking for a one-stop beauty shop for her dainty fingers and feet. At that time, she had to go to three different salons just to get the precise services she wants.

With encouragement from her husband Erwin, she bravely ventured into the nail salon business knowing that she had always been a kikay at heart, and nail art had been a long-time hobby.

The feat is nothing short of impressive, considering Veronica is a mother of three – aged 6, 14, and 18. The eldest is turning out to be as tall and elegant as her parents – and Erwin

Veronica, or “Nica” to her friends, is very involved in her business. Even though she has the best nail technicians available in her team, she likes, or rather, enjoys – doing the nail art herself – especially with her VIP clients.

She works tirelessly, spending half her day at the Extraordinail branch in Greenhills and the other half in Tomas Morato. She reveals to us that she can only do it because she really likes doing what she does.

Getting acrylic nail extensions can take almost three hours, but it’s worth it. Upon talking to their customers we discovered that Nica takes really good care of her customers.

If you happen to ruin your nails you can go back and have it re-touched – sometimes for free!

We also found out that Nica takes really good care of her employees. She tells us that she decided to open a mini-cafe / bar to cater snacks to her staff and customers.

This makes sense, since customers can spend hours relaxing inside the salon!

Actress Heart Evangelista loves Extraordinail so much that she has become its brand ambassador. Spotted at the newly opened Tomas Morato branch, Heart revealed several reasons why the nail salon has become her favorite place for some much needed me time.

ASTIG.PH: Could you give us three adjectives that best describe Extraordinail?

Heart Evangelista: First they are inspiring because they give me that instant feel of being beautiful, second they’re artistic. they can create anything you want, whatever you feel like putting on your nails, a certain painting that you want you can put it on there

ASTIG.PH: Like Picasso?

Heart Evangelista: Like Picasso, whatever you wish. And thirdly, unique. I’m a nail addict, a nail art addict and I’ve been going to Extraordinail for quite some time now and they are the only ones that can create what I have envisioned.

ASTIG.PH: I guess that answers my next question which is what Extraordina–uh Extraordinail extraordinary.

Heart Evangelista: I think, one more thing that makes it extraordinary is that, aside from their services, they can actually work it out with you. Masyadong mataas ba yung tingin mo mas mahal puwede nilang gawing affordable and within your budget. The staff is super friendly and super approachable.
