FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano: Almost One Year as Consistent Top Rater

coco5Teleserye’s come and go. Last time we got entertained was thru the love team of Ser Chief and Maya with “Be Careful With My Heart” that lasted two years. And now when it comes to action, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” is a consistent top rater since it was released last year headed by primetime king Coco Martin and continues to present more hard-hitting episodes of the wrong doings of men in uniform. Their episodes have also gotten more timely with its issues as hot as the news.

Just recently, Dreamscape Entertainment threw out an “FPJs Ang Probinsyano Pasasalamat presscon to say Thank You. Of course who else will be there but the very hardworking Coco Martin (Hector) and he had in tow Mak Mak (McNeal Briguela) and Onyok (Simon Pineda), two of his very “makulit” but endearing child co-stars.
coco4Since the start of the series, “FPJs Ang Probinsyano” has depicted real-life experiences of Filipinos and showed the importance of family and love for the country.

Some of the stars who have guested and helped pump the show and were part of the series included Richard Yap, Elmo Magalona, Jake Cuenca,Janella Salvador, Nikki Valdez, Jay Manalo, Joem Bascon, Smokey Manaloto, Maricar Reyes, Angelica Panganiban, Anne Curtiss, Gina Pareño and Christopher de Leon among many others.

And speaking of upcoming guestings, Coco has shared that we should all watch out for his exciting confrontation scenes opposite Cesar Montano who also portrays a police with a higher rank. Now that is something to really look forward to!
coco3Mak Mak portrayed by McNeal Briguela also looks up highly to fellow co-star Kuya Coco and confirms of his kindness and generosity.
coco2Coco is very impressed with his child co-actors Mak Mak  & Onyok.  He recalls, “Ang gagaling nilang umarte. Mas gusto nilang mas maraming linya kesa sakin!”
coco8A lot of his fans are curious if Coco has a special someone right now who inspires him? And his simple answer was,
“Yung private life ko kasi iniingatan ko.”

The show knows how to give back and has already hosted several outeach programs to send love to communities in need of help and thank them for their unwavering support.
Coco led the “Oplan Balik Eskwela” project where school supplies were given to students of Paradise Farm Elementary school in Bulacan.

Also watch out for someone close to Coco especially onscreen, who will also guest really soon and add more spice to their episodes.  “Abangan n’yo rin ang pag guest ni Vice Ganda!”  he shares. “Ang role nya rito eh may pagka-cybersex related!”

And to that, I can say, “Eh di wow…finally!”
