“Star In A Million” season two grand winner Frenchie Dy won another million pesos as she emerged as the fourth millionaire of the hit musical game show “The Singing Bee” last Monday (August 18).
Frenchie immediately burst into tears when Bandle Bee played Rey Valera’s “Kung Kailangan Mo Ako,” the fourth song whose lyrics she guessed correctly and made her win in the Final Countdown round. “That’s my mommy and mine’s theme song,” she said.
Frenchie faced off with fellow singing champions Mitoy Yonting of “The Voice” and Jovit Baldovino of “Pilipinas Got Talent” in the said episode.
Since the championship seat has been unoccupied after Frenchie’s win, “Ang TV” alumni Antoinette Taus, Baron Geisler, and Vandolph Quizon will also try their luck in the musical game show on Tuesday (August 19), while Bangs Garcia, Assunta de Rossi, and Meryll Soriano are set to compete on Wednesday (August 20).
Some of today’s hottest young stars Joseph Marco, James Reid, and Nadine Lustre will set “The Singing Bee” stage on fire on Thursday (August 21), while pretty girls Julia Barretto, Michelle Vito, and Coleen Garcia will showcase their musicality on Friday (August 22).
