MANILA, Philippines (Feb 2025) — GAC Motor Philippines, under Astara Philippines, clinched two major global awards at the 2025 GAC International Partner Conference, reinforcing its rapid growth and market leadership. The company received the Gold Award for Outstanding Distributor of the Year 2024 and Outstanding Sales Department of 2024, highlighting its strong sales performance and commitment to customer satisfaction.
GAC Motor’s global footprint now spans 72 countries and regions, with a 97% surge in worldwide retail sales, largely fueled by the Asian market. In the Philippines, demand for GAC vehicles continues to rise, with 3,207 units sold in 2024—an impressive 65% year-on-year growth.
The company was also recognized for its aggressive dealership expansion, growing from six locations in 2022 to 20 in 2023 and reaching 32 by 2024. This rapid growth marks the fastest dealership network expansion within GAC’s global operations.
