“It’s Showtime” is once again making a statement with an all-new beauty pageant that puts the spotlight on men who not only possess good looks but also put high importance on their job and career.

Following the success of its beauty pageant “Gandang Babae,” the country’s number one noontime show recently launched “Gandang Lalake.” It pits men who represent different fields against each other and gives them the time to shine on the “Showtime” stage.

So far, the pageant has featured a public school teacher, a sales agent, a call center agent, a graphic artist, a soldier, and a service crew mascot, among others.

However, the contestants are not the only highlight of the segment. It also showcases “trabahandles,” who often appear comical and serious at the same time while carrying the words that serve as topics for discussion in the question-and-answer portion.

Those who want to join “Gandang Lalake”may go to the ABS-CBN Audience Entrance in Quezon City and look for Bing Ramos or Danjosh Zacarias from Mondays to Fridays, 3-6 PM. Aspirants should be single and 18 t0 28 years old and must bring a valid ID and a certificate of employment.

Don’t miss “It’s Showtime”, 12:30 PM Mondays to Fridays, and on Saturdays, 12NN on ABS-CBN. For updates on the program, follow @ItsShowtimena on Twitter, @ItsShowtimeOfficial_IG on Instagram, or like   www.facebook.com/itsShowtimena.
