Garena Free City pre-registration opens in PH with Tagalog support

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Apr 9) – Filipino gamers can now sign up early for Garena’s upcoming mobile game, Free City, as pre-registration opens across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Garena, the developer and publisher, describes Free City as a multiplayer open-world adventure role-playing game. It allows players to explore a dynamic city, engage in strategic street battles, and follow unique character stories. The game had a soft launch in Argentina last December.

Players in the Philippines and other designated regions can pre-register via the App Store, Google Play, or the official website at freecity.garena.com. Those who sign up early will receive exclusive in-game items, including a Marauder Hyena sports car, when the game launches.

Free City players start as part of a special squad undertaking missions against rivals. The game world allows players to glide using drones, search for mystery boxes containing skill points, take on challenges, explore professions, and interact with non-player characters.

Customization is a key aspect. Players can personalize character appearances, outfits, and weapon skins. They can also acquire and modify various vehicles. Each account can support up to four distinct characters, allowing for different experiences within the same game world.

The game offers several modes to encourage social interaction. Competitive players can join Player vs. Player modes like Team/Solo Deathmatch, Arms Race, and Cash Grab Arena. Player vs. Environment challenges are also available. For casual fun, modes like the obstacle-based Entertainment Challenge and the survival-focused Bomb Royale are included. A classic racing mode lets players compete on various tracks.

Social features include a world channel for players on the same server to connect, form alliances, and tackle community challenges. Players can also form or join squads for exclusive missions and create personalized virtual hangout spots.

Garena plans a global launch for Free City later this year. The game will support multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Bahasa Melayu, and notably for the local audience, Tagalog.

To pre-register for Garena Free City and claim early rewards, visit the App Store, Google Play, or freecity.garena.com. Stay updated through the official channels listed on their website.
