Grab now works directly from Google Maps

MANILA, Philippines – Filipinos have more ways to book a ride with the addition of Grab as a Google Maps ride services partner.

Now if you have Grab app installed and you tap on the ride service tab in Google Maps, you’ll be able to see estimated pickup times, journey times and fares for GrabTaxi and GrabCar. If you select Grab, we’ll take you directly to their app to book your ride with one tap. The addition of Grab expands on our existing global ride service partnership with Uber.

The ride services tab in Google Maps on iOS and Android will show you taxi and car services from our partners in addition to the existing car, transit, walking, or biking options you’re familiar with. So when you’re leaving work to meet a friend for dinner, you can easily compare your options to find the fastest way there, without having to open multiple apps. Happy riding!
