MANILA, Philippines – As ABS-CBN’s top-rating TV drama “Hawak Kamay” draws to a close the powerhouse cast invites its fans to hold on until the very end as the story reaches the much-anticipated finale.
“Hawak Kamay,” which stars acclaimed actor Piolo Pascual, has made waves since its airing date. The family oriented program also stars Nikki Gil and exceptional child actors Zaijan Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, and Promil Pre-School i-Shine Talent Camp Season 2 Contender Yesha Camille.
The show’s theme on being a family despite not being blood-related, “Hawak Kamay” was welcomed with warmth and appreciation by TV viewers. The show also garnered positive reviews and the highest ratings.
The primetime bida teleserye’s four-month run has been successful because of its consistency in creating a story centered on family concerns that is very relevant to the modern day Filipino family. Part of the show’s success is also brought by the effortless acting skills of Piolo Pascual who made his return to television drama through the series.
The portrayal of characters Atty. Bianca Magpantay by Iza Calzado and Gin by Nikki Gil also added flavor to the series as well as the perfect chemistry of child actors Jaranilla, Manabat, and Camille to Pascual’s character.
